You Can Trust Jesus with Your Pain

Vulnerability is something lots of people struggle with. But being vulnerable and having vulnerability is very important in life.

Don’t be fearful in life! Instead, bring your problems and hurt to the feet of Jesus, and He will heal you! Don’t build a wall around yourself, your heart, or your life. Don’t push people away because you’re afraid of getting hurt.

I saw the importance of vulnerability on a show once. There were two sisters, and they lost their mother when they were really young. When they grew up, the younger sister was in a relationship with someone and, in a way, avoiding him and pushing him away. The older sister was talking to her and saying she remembered how hurt her sister was when their mother died. She said, “You’re pushing people away because you’re afraid of getting hurt.”

The younger sister realized she was pushing people away because she was afraid of getting hurt again. She had built a wall around her heart so nobody could get in. She was so afraid of getting hurt and broken.

When stuff happens like that, we tend to build a wall around ourselves and just keep pushing people away because we’re afraid of getting hurt physically, mentally, and emotionally. But today, I want to encourage you to break that wall and bring it to the feet of Jesus! Don’t try and hide it; but instead, put it on the table and pray to the Lord. Thank Him for being there in your life. You don’t have to break that wall and go through the process alone.

God is waiting for you to come to Him. He loves that you are brave enough to stand up and say, “Lord, I need your help.”

Don’t be scared. Instead, pray to the Lord, and ask Him to remove any fear and replace it with faith. Give your life to God, and ask Him to heal anything in your life that has made you fearful. Put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He will forever do good for you! God’s plan for your life is better than anything you could imagine.

Even if you feel like you don’t need anybody else—trust me, you need God! You can’t do life alone!
