A Prayer for Peace

Having peace is really important. So here’s a prayer I often pray that gives me peace:

“Dear God, Thank you so much for this day! Thank you so much for all the love and grace you give to me. Even in the darkest moments and the times where I just want to give up, you’re still there, continuing to love, encourage and support me. I will forever love you! Thank you for never making me feel looked down on, judged, unloved, and forgotten. Even if I have some of those feelings on earth, I know you would never think that about me. Thank you for filling my heart with joy, peace, love, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gratefulness, and thankfulness! I love you so much! Thank you for always being there for me! You are the Lord Most High, and I will forever praise and worship you for as long as I live! I love you so much! In Jesus mighty and holy name, Amen.”

After I pray this prayer, I’ll also look at some verses I like:

“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.” Psalm 9:1-2 NIV

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his, we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100:1-5 NIV

“We love because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19 NIV

So just remember to have peace, stay calm, and never stop loving!
